Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs' Health Data Management Program, the full-time remote Test Automation Engineer will develop automated tests, validate APIs and data workflows, and ensure the quality of middleware platforms and enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests across API, middleware, and application layers
• Collaborate with software developers and analysts to design and execute end-to-end testing solutions
• Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks while planning and executing regression testing activities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering
• Strong experience with API, middleware, integration, and data testing
• Experience using Selenium, TestNG, or comparable automation frameworks and tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline-based test automation practices
