Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Health Data Management Program, the full-time Test Automation Engineer will develop automated tests, validate APIs and data workflows, and ensure software quality in a 100% remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated tests across various layers including API, middleware, and application
- Collaborate with developers and testers to design and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing solutions
- Perform data validation activities and create scalable automation frameworks for testing
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering
- Strong experience with API, middleware, integration, and data testing
- Experience using Selenium, TestNG, or similar automation frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline-based test automation practices
