Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a large federal modernization program, the fully remote Test Automation Engineer will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and database-driven systems
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and feedback
- Execute various testing types, including functional, regression, and performance testing, while identifying and resolving defects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 8 years of professional experience in software testing and quality engineering, or 4 years with a related Master's degree
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience with tools like Selenium WebDriver or comparable technologies
- Experience with automation programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Proficiency in developing automated tests for REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI
