Test Consulting Engineer

Job Summary

To support complex network validation projects, the part-time Test Consulting Engineer will engage with customers to plan and execute validation engagements, validate new design solutions, and collaborate with engineering teams, all in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to plan and execute validation engagements for complex network solutions
• Develop test plans, build lab configurations, and document testing results thoroughly
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to identify issues and facilitate resolutions for successful project delivery

Required qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge of Cisco enterprise routing and switching technologies
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst platforms, including StackWise Virtual and Access Points
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 / Layer 3 network design and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with network security protocols such as 802.1X, AAA, and RADIUS
• Programming skills in Python and/or Robot Framework for test automation
