Test Development Assistant
Job Summary
Providing operational and development support for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) project, the part-time Test Development Assistant will collect and analyze assessment items, participate in user experience reviews, and manage outreach activities, all while working remotely within the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Support all stages of assessment development, including collecting and reviewing assessment items and related documents
- Participate in the collection and analysis of feedback on assessment materials from various stakeholders
- Conduct user experience reviews and quality control checks of content integration into assessment platforms
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
- Familiarity with digital K-12 assessment frameworks and U.S. content standards
- Content knowledge in reading, science, or mathematics, including U.S. education standards
- One to two years of teaching experience
- Experience with document review and applying technical standards is preferred
