Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Test Engineer to support quality engineering and software validation activities within large Federal environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for various testing types including functional and regression testing
• Perform manual and automated testing of applications, APIs, and web services while documenting results and logging defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery through Agile practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance engineering roles
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies including functional, integration, and regression testing
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
