Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Test Engineer will validate software quality and performance through manual and automated testing, ensuring compliance with standards and supporting Agile delivery for Veterans Affairs projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet requirements and are ready for deployment
• Conduct various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience in Agile testing environments
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience with API testing tools
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
