Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development and execution of complex engineering test programs for advanced mechanical systems, the remote contract Test Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop test solutions, analyze results, and produce technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and develop test requirements and engineering test plans
• Plan, manage, and execute test campaigns from concept through completion, including analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate conceptual requirements into detailed test specifications and instrumentation strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Three (3) or more years of experience in testing, research and development, or engineering validation
• Experience developing and executing engineering tests and analyzing experimental data
• Practical understanding of structural and mechanical testing, including force and displacement measurement
• Experience supporting large, complex mechanical systems
