Test Engineer

Job Summary

Owning end-to-end quality for new features, the full-time remote Test Engineer will translate product intent into runnable coverage, build frameworks for testing, and produce evidence for feature readiness before release.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end testing for new features, ensuring acceptance criteria are met through a runnable suite that gates releases
• Review and clarify new requirements, transforming them into concrete pass/fail coverage while identifying non-testable aspects early
• Architect and maintain end-to-end testing frameworks and fixtures for the operator portal, backend platform, and endpoint agent

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing, SDET, or quality engineering with strong end-to-end and API coverage experience
• Experience building a browser end-to-end testing framework from scratch and integrating it into CI
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience using Playwright or similar tools for parallelized testing
• Experience in API and contract testing, with the ability to anticipate schema-drift risks
• Proven ability to convert ambiguous requirements into concrete, gating test coverage
