Test Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the integration and stress testing of a lightweight security agent, the full-time Test Engineer will ensure correct behavior across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage integration and stress testing to verify agent behavior on production-representative machines
• Architect and maintain the device test harness and VM-based test farm for nightly CI execution
• Design performance and load tests to identify resource-budget regressions before customer impact

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in software testing, SDET, or quality engineering with substantial ownership of test infrastructure
• Experience building a device or cross-platform test harness from scratch to a trusted state
• Depth in operating system behavior on at least two platforms: Windows, macOS, or Linux
• Strong proficiency in Python and ability to integrate C/C++ and Rust test suites into CI
• Proven track record of improving CI reliability and reducing regression-suite runtime
