Test Engineer/QA Lead

Job Summary

Leading comprehensive software testing activities, the full-time remote Test Engineer/QA Lead will develop and execute both manual and automated testing strategies, manage the software defect lifecycle, and ensure software releases meet high standards for functionality and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of software testing activities, including functional, regression, and security testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and databases
• Manage the software defect lifecycle in collaboration with development teams, providing regular testing status updates and quality reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering within DoD or large enterprise environments
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or JUnit
• Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) testing requirements
• Active Secret Security Clearance
