Testing Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for automated, performance, and security testing, the full-time remote Testing Manager will oversee the quality assurance strategy for the CMS Drug Data Processing System and Payment Reconciliation System, ensuring compliance with testing mandates and integrating automated processes within the CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Own automated, performance, and security testing while maintaining 80% or greater automated unit test coverage using Python frameworks
• Perform regression and post-implementation validation testing, integrating automated test execution into the CI/CD pipeline
• Track operational quality metrics and propose QASP performance standards, submitting quarterly self-assessments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years in software QA and test automation leadership
• Hands-on expertise with Python test frameworks, including Pytest and UnitTest
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, JIRA, and GitHub
• Proven experience designing automated test coverage gates within CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with federal security compliance testing requirements under FISMA and NIST
