Testing Technician

Job Summary

Assisting developers in evaluating software for veterans' affairs, the fully remote Testing Technician will build test plans, execute test cases, and document results while communicating defects to the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on user stories
• Generate data and perform manual testing to evaluate software performance
• Document test results and communicate defects to the development team for improvements

Required qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
• Experience with test methodologies, QA processes, and the software release cycle
• Knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking
• Ability to write test plans and test cases
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
