Offering a flexible contract position, the Tetum Remote Interpreter will provide over-the-phone interpretation services primarily in medical contexts while working from home and setting their own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver telephonic interpretation services across various industries, including medical, insurance, and customer service
• Utilize an online portal or landline telephone to manage calls and log on and off as needed
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements to work in the United States, including providing a valid SSN or EIN and photo ID

Required qualifications

• Experience in interpreting, preferably in telephonic settings
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Residence in the United States, excluding California, New Jersey, and New York
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate 24/7 client needs
• Access to a reliable landline telephone or internet connection for remote work
