Job Summary
Building long-term relationships with clients, the full-time remote Texas Account Director will drive strategic growth initiatives, manage key account relationships, and identify new business opportunities within the IT industry.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients, presenting the company's services and addressing client needs
- Create Account Plans and regularly report on revenue and growth results to senior management
- Conduct market research to identify upselling opportunities and proactively seek new business leads through networking and referrals
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in sales executive or client partner roles within the IT/Tech industry
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and closing deals
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer or a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred
- Must be based in Texas, preferably in the Houston area
- Experience in the Oil and Gas (Energy) or SaaS industries is a significant asset
