Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist injured workers and other stakeholders by locating and verifying providers within the medical provider network
  • Document bill review errors to improve team performance and ensure compliance with best practices
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and scheduling appointments as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Associates' degree preferred or comparable experience in Workers Compensation
  • Knowledge of State Workers' Compensation regulations
  • CPC certification and/or expertise in bill review analysis preferred
  • Call center experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong knowledge of fee schedules and network contracts
