Job Summary
A company is looking for an Appeals Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist injured workers and other stakeholders by locating and verifying providers within the medical provider network
- Document bill review errors to improve team performance and ensure compliance with best practices
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and scheduling appointments as needed
Required Qualifications
- Associates' degree preferred or comparable experience in Workers Compensation
- Knowledge of State Workers' Compensation regulations
- CPC certification and/or expertise in bill review analysis preferred
- Call center experience is a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge of fee schedules and network contracts
