Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist injured workers and other stakeholders in locating providers and scheduling appointments
  • Document bill review errors to improve team performance and ensure compliance with best practices
  • Communicate effectively with callers regarding provider networks and Workers Compensation guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Associates' degree preferred or equivalent Workers Compensation experience
  • Knowledge of assigned State's Workers' Compensation regulations
  • CPC certification and/or expertise in bill review analysis preferred
  • Call center experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong knowledge of fee schedules and network contracts
