Job Summary
A company is looking for an Appeals Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist injured workers and other stakeholders in locating providers and scheduling appointments
- Document bill review errors to improve team performance and ensure compliance with best practices
- Communicate effectively with callers regarding provider networks and Workers Compensation guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Associates' degree preferred or equivalent Workers Compensation experience
- Knowledge of assigned State's Workers' Compensation regulations
- CPC certification and/or expertise in bill review analysis preferred
- Call center experience is a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge of fee schedules and network contracts
