Texas Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard assets and ensure accurate recording of transactions through internal audits and controls
• Oversee day-to-day treasury and general ledger accounting activities, including reconciliations
• Develop and issue timely monthly financial records for leadership and ensure GAAP compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
• Four to five years of experience in Public Accounting or five to ten years in Private Industry
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with NetSuite, Google Drive, and Excel preferred
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
