Texas CAPPS Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the statewide CAPPS Financials system, the remote contract CAPPS Financial Tower Analyst will manage system configuration, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with teams to enhance financial operations within a large public sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the CAPPS Financials module, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Provide functional configuration, issue resolution, and leadership in business processes for the statewide ERP system
• Collaborate on system testing, change management, and user training initiatives to ensure compliance and optimize operations

Required qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of State of Texas applicable policies
• Technical expertise with App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects
• Experience performing system configuration changes within an ERP system
• Knowledge of supporting batch jobs, including Run My Jobs (RMJ)
• Understanding of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy for statewide ERP instances
