Texas CAPPS Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the statewide CAPPS Financials system, the remote contract CAPPS Financial Tower Analyst will manage the maintenance and configuration of ERP modules, ensuring smooth operations and compliance within a large public sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the CAPPS Financials module, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Provide functional configuration, issue resolution, and leadership in business processes for the ERP system
• Collaborate with teams for system testing, change management, and user training initiatives

Required qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of State of Texas applicable policies
• Technical skills in App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects
• Experience performing system configuration changes
• Knowledge of supporting batch jobs, such as Run My Jobs (RMJ)
• Understanding of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy for ERP systems
