Job Summary
Supporting the Transition of Care Telemedicine Team, the fully remote Texas Certified Medical Assistant will manage virtual patient care coordination, assist with documentation and medication reconciliation, and provide exceptional telehealth services in a patient-centered environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Support providers during telemedicine visits through documentation assistance and workflow coordination
- Conduct pre-visit outreach, including appointment reminders and intake preparation
- Assist with medication reconciliation and monitor abnormal findings for provider review
Required qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic computer literacy and proven knowledge of medical terminology
- ICD-10 and CPT coding experience
