Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Coding Supervisor to join their healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist management in monitoring workflows and employee development
• Serve as a subject matter expert to coding employees
• Support quality and organizational monitoring and improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in HIM or healthcare-related field (2 years preferred) or Associate's Degree (4 years required) or H.S. Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience
• 5 years of related experience in acute care hospital coding with progressive responsibility
• 1 year of experience performing coding audits and reviews
• Certifications required upon hire: COC, CCS, or other relevant coding certifications
• Proficiency in coding methodologies and regulatory requirements associated with coding
