Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Professional Coder Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit charts for accurate ICD-10 CM and CPT code assignment and documentation integrity
• Review medical records to verify compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and report on coding-related trends

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• CPC certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in an outpatient setting
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and guidelines
• Proficient in Google Sheets and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
