Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Buyer to manage procurement activities within the Purchasing Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise procurement sections to ensure efficient purchasing operations
- Consult with departments on specifications and provide technical assistance regarding purchasing procedures
- Monitor procurements for compliance and facilitate sourcing of products and services in collaboration with end-users
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 2 years of progressively responsible procurement experience
- CTPM or CTCD certification within 1-1/2 years
- Prior experience in government procurement is helpful
- Experience with Jaggaer eProcurement and PeopleSoft is preferred
