Texas Charge Master Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Master Coordinator to manage hospital chargemaster functions and ensure compliance with billing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and maintain the hospital's Charge Master to optimize revenue generation and compliance
• Ensure accuracy of charges and coding within chargemaster files using industry software tools
• Collaborate with Revenue Integrity and Cost Accounting staff for charge capture and cost analysis

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree
• 3 years of experience in hospital billing and coding or equivalent education and training
• Knowledge of coding and medical record documentation
• Familiarity with government billing requirements
• Experience with hospital information systems, particularly Epic HB, is preferred
