Job Summary
To support IT projects for a client, the contract Child Welfare Project Manager will manage one to three projects simultaneously using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies, requiring extensive experience in state-level Child Welfare agencies and software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and evaluate projects using established PMO methodologies and Scrum practices
- Develop and maintain project charters, plans, schedules, and risk logs while monitoring project costs and deliverables
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate status, risks, and stakeholder interests effectively
Required Qualifications
- 10-12+ years of overall project management experience
- 1-3+ years of experience working on state Child Welfare projects or with a Child Welfare agency
- Working knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle processes and documentation
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts including information security, networking, and databases
