Texas Collection Representative

Job Summary

Utilizing various collection strategies, the full-time Texas Collection Representative will manage a portfolio of charged-off accounts with principal balances of $2,501 and greater, negotiating payment arrangements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and determine actions for delinquent accounts in the assigned queue
• Negotiate payment terms and settlements while applying knowledge of credit bureau reporting to support collection efforts
• Document all account activity accurately and participate in continuous improvement training sessions

Required qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of collections or sales experience preferred
