Texas Community Engagement Manager

Job Summary

To build and grow the community of Texas Sports Academy parents and student-athletes, the remote Community Engagement Manager will manage communications, plan and host events, and engage with members while ensuring a positive member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Texas Sports Academy family community, overseeing communications and member engagement
• Plan and facilitate online and in-person events, coordinating with speakers and managing logistics
• Engage with community members daily, responding to inquiries and maintaining a consistent presence across various platforms

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in community management for schools, athletic programs, or similar organizations
• Proven ability to plan and execute events from concept to completion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with parents and student-athletes
• Background in athletics, with personal experience as an athlete or coach
• Texas residency, preferably in the Austin area
