Texas Community Manager

Job Summary

To build and grow the community of Texas Sports Academy parents and student-athletes, the remote Community Manager will manage daily communications, plan and host online and in-person events, and engage with members to enhance their overall experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the community by overseeing member engagement, response times, and overall experience
• Plan and facilitate online events, expanding to in-person gatherings as the community develops
• Engage daily with members across various channels, providing timely information and support

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in community management for schools, athletic programs, or similar organizations
• Proven ability to plan and execute events, including speaker coordination
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with families
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a remote setting
• Personal experience in athletics or a sports-related role, with a solid understanding of youth athletics
