Job Summary
To build and grow the community of Texas Sports Academy parents and student-athletes, the remote Community Manager will manage daily communications, plan and host online and in-person events, and engage with members to enhance their overall experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the community by overseeing member engagement, response times, and overall experience
- Plan and facilitate online events, expanding to in-person gatherings as the community develops
- Engage daily with members across various channels, providing timely information and support
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in community management for schools, athletic programs, or similar organizations
- Proven ability to plan and execute events, including speaker coordination
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with families
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a remote setting
- Personal experience in athletics or a sports-related role, with a solid understanding of youth athletics
