Texas Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting compliance for affordable housing programs, the remote Compliance Specialist will process and maintain file compliance for Section 42 and HOME programs while collaborating with property management teams across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compliance support and training to onsite teams during the file approval process
- Review resident files for compliance with program and state requirements and manage compliance workflows
- Maintain knowledge of HUD programs and ensure site compliance with regulatory rules and regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of relevant experience required
- Knowledge of HUD programs including Section 8, Section 236, and Section 42
- Ability to research program requirements and implement across assigned programs
- Yardi experience preferred
