Job Summary
To support a growing medical provider network, the full-time remote Texas Credentialing Specialist will manage contracts and maintain credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with state regulations and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Review and screen credentialing applications for accuracy and compliance, following up as necessary
- Conduct primary source verification and maintain provider contract files to ensure timely renewals
- Communicate with providers and staff to address credentialing issues and implement process improvements
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of medical provider credentialing and accreditation principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to manage confidential information and make administrative decisions
- Experience with database management and data entry
