Job Summary
To support educational initiatives, the full-time Texas Curriculum Writer will create and adapt standards-aligned curriculum for grades K-5, developing engaging lesson plans, assessments, and materials while collaborating with subject matter experts in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and instructional designers to develop curriculum materials
- Revise educational content based on client feedback and support the creation of professional learning materials for teachers
- Integrate innovative strategies and tools to enhance learner engagement in lesson plans and assessments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, education, or a related field
- Familiarity with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS)
- Strong familiarity with the US K-12 education system preferred
- Experience in educational writing is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
