Job Summary
To support students with disabilities, the part-time remote Texas DHH Teacher will deliver specialized virtual instruction aligned with IEPs, implement evidence-based strategies, and collaborate with educational teams.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver specialized, virtual instruction to K-12 students with disabilities in alignment with their IEPs
- Provide case management and support the facilitation of IEPs, including tracking student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families while completing required documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree minimum; Master's degree preferred
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Texas Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing: EC-12 certification
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education compliance
- Minimum one year of classroom-based special education experience
