Job Summary
A company is looking for a Government Relations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the organization at community events and meetings to build relationships with local leaders and stakeholders
- Coordinate informational sessions and educational programs to enhance community awareness of autonomous trucking
- Conduct policy research and support legislative tracking activities to aid in strategic engagement efforts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Affairs, Political Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7+ years of experience in legislative affairs, government relations, community engagement, or public affairs
- Experience working with elected officials and state/local government agencies preferred
- Community-minded with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to outreach
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities
