Texas HR/PY Functional Lead

Job Summary

Driving statewide payroll and HR operations, the full-time Texas HR/PY Functional Lead will provide advanced functional support for PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll and HR modules, manage large-scale projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced functional support for PeopleSoft Payroll and HR modules, ensuring accurate configuration and timely issue resolution
• Lead business requirements gathering and system configuration for payroll, time & labor, and HR processes
• Create and manage payroll-related queries, reports, and data validations using various technical tools

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM Payroll module support and system configuration
• Deep technical proficiency in App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects
• Extensive knowledge of federal labor laws and payroll processes
• Demonstrated expertise in PeopleSoft security and multi-tenancy within statewide ERP
• Proven track record supporting batch jobs and managing the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
