Job Summary
To support a growing Member Access team, the part-time Texas Licensed Access Provider will conduct intake evaluations, initiate medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and deliver care via telemedicine, working remotely within Texas for 20-25 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct intake evaluations and initiate MAT, primarily using buprenorphine-based treatment
- Deliver care via telemedicine, ensuring safe and successful treatment initiation for patients during their first weeks of recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transition patients into ongoing care and contribute to service line development
Required qualifications
- MD/DO, NP (FNP or APRN), or PA with an active, unrestricted license
- Experience treating opioid use disorder (OUD) with buprenorphine (1+ year preferred)
- Background in behavioral health, primary care, or addiction medicine
- Comfort with telemedicine and technology-enabled care delivery
