Job Summary
Managing a high-volume portfolio of small group employer accounts, the full-time Texas Licensed Account Manager will provide day-to-day client service, coordinate support across internal teams, and serve as the primary point of contact while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, managing service needs via phone and email
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers through proactive outreach and virtual meetings
- Handle client service issues with urgency, ensuring resolution by collaborating with internal operations teams
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree preferred; minimum of two years of experience in small group employee health benefits or a related insurance environment
- Insurance Producer's License required
- Solid understanding of small group insurance products and compliance requirements including ERISA and COBRA
- Knowledge of carrier submission requirements for new business and renewals
- Familiarity with plan design for medical, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD coverage
