Texas Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee the Property Accounting Department and manage accounting activities for a portfolio of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and manage the workload of the accounting team
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for a diversified portfolio of properties
• Hire, train, and develop property accounting staff while evaluating internal processes for improvements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial property accounting or the real estate industry
• 3+ years of experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
• General understanding of computerized accounting systems; MRI experience required
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
• Advanced education in accounting or CPA designation is a plus
