Job Summary

A company is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider for their GI Surgical Oncology Clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and document comprehensive physical examinations and synthesize data to develop patient care plans
  • Provide management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients and families regarding care and preventive health measures
  • Participate in quality initiatives and collaborate in research projects to improve clinical practice performance
Required Qualifications and Education
  • Master's degree or higher in nursing or completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Education Program
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician Assistant in Texas
  • Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing or Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in surgical oncology preferred
