Texas Licensed Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor to support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use through various treatment methods in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and formulate care plans in collaboration with medical staff
• Facilitate individual coaching sessions and manage a caseload while monitoring health outcomes
• Document sessions and develop new clinical tools while maintaining HIPAA standards

Required Qualifications

• Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, with certification from IC&RC
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• BA/BS and/or MA preferred
• Experience with EMR systems, telehealth settings, and evidence-based treatment programs
• Secure private space and high-speed internet access for conducting sessions
