Job Summary
To support individuals in overcoming alcohol use disorder, the part-time Texas Licensed Alcohol Counselor will provide virtual coaching, develop personalized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate evidence-based interventions and monitor health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video/phone calls and app-based communication
- Manage a caseload of members, monitoring health outcomes and coordinating care services
Required qualifications
- Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, recognized by IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS and/or MA preferred
- Experience with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
