Job Summary

To lead and grow a producing retail branch network, the remote Texas Licensed Area Manager will recruit and develop mortgage loan officers, oversee branch operations, and build referral relationships while ensuring compliance and exceptional borrower experiences.

Key responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach a team of mortgage loan officers to achieve individual and branch-level volume goals
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance and a high-quality borrower experience from application to closing
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with real estate professionals and monitor local market trends to inform team strategies
Required qualifications
  • Active NMLS license
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior mortgage leadership experience in branch management, sales management, or area/regional manager roles
  • Deep knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loan products, as well as jumbo and non-QM
  • Proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop producing loan officers in a competitive market
  • Strong established referral network in Texas with a focus on the purchase market
