Job Summary
To support outpatient intake processes, the part-time Texas Licensed Assessment Coordinator will manage patient assessments, coordinate admissions, and ensure compliance with hospital policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Document and process inquiry calls according to intake policies
- Assess and stabilize patients prior to admission and complete necessary admission paperwork
- Coordinate pre-certification with insurance requirements and complete outcome studies forms
Required qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Master's Degree in a human relations or related field
- Two or more years of experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting
- Licensed to practice in Texas as a mental health professional (RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPCI)
- Working knowledge of the DSM-IV and Mental Status Exam
- Familiarity with the Addiction and Recovery field
