Job Summary
To support outpatient intake processes, the part-time Texas Licensed Assessment Coordinator (RN/Licensed Therapist) will manage referral responses, conduct patient assessments, and ensure compliance with admission procedures while working remotely from Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Document and process inquiry calls in accordance with intake policies
- Assess and stabilize patients prior to admission or discharge
- Complete admission paperwork and ensure compliance with Core Measures Data for all admissions
Required qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Master's Degree in a human relations or related field
- Two or more years of experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting
- Licensed to practice in Texas as a mental health professional (RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPCI)
- Knowledge of the DSM-IV and Mental Status Exam
- Understanding of the Addiction and Recovery field
