Texas Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

To support corporate development initiatives, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed Assistant General Counsel will provide legal advice, negotiate strategic transactions, and manage M&A and corporate venture activities, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all strategic transactions, including M&A and corporate financing, from inception to closing
• Advise executives on high-visibility matters, aligning legal strategy with corporate growth objectives
• Establish operational frameworks and manage outside counsel to ensure effective legal representation

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in M&A, venture, and corporate law, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
• Active and in good standing with the state bar in which the position is located
• Functional knowledge of public company accounting, corporate finance, and tax matters
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and navigate a dynamic workplace
• Strong interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity
