Job Summary

Offering a full-time clinical faculty appointment, the Texas Licensed Assistant Professor in the Abdominal Imaging Department will provide multimodality abdominal imaging expertise, educate medical students and residents, and develop academic programs focused on cancer understanding.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with known or suspected malignancy
  • Perform various radiologic procedures, including oncology-focused CT, MRI, and ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical care, research, and education
Required qualifications
  • Medical degree with board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology
  • Licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Post-residency fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging
  • Prior research experience and publications in Abdominal Imaging are highly desirable
