Texas Licensed Associate Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director & Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and lead quarterly forecasting and new product reinsurance pricing through deal model analysis
• Review and understand model results for valuation under the Bermuda Monetary Authority's Scenario Based Approach framework
• Prepare financial analytics and communicate financial risks and impacts to management

Required Qualifications

• Preferred Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or similar designation
• 5+ years of progressively responsible actuarial experience
• Background in life insurance, annuities, reinsurance, and Bermuda regulations is ideal but not required
• Cross-functional experience in modeling, valuation, and experience studies desired
• Modeling experience and understanding of US GAAP, statutory, and Bermuda valuation frameworks is preferred
