Job Summary
To support complex actuarial projects, the full-time remote Texas Licensed Associate Actuary will perform advanced actuarial work, communicate findings to stakeholders, and guide junior analysts while managing project ownership from planning to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct complex actuarial analyses and communicate findings to actuarial peers and senior stakeholders
- Manage projects by anticipating dependencies, risks, and key decisions while ensuring high-quality results
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering their professional growth through coaching and knowledge sharing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Finance, or a related field
- Successful completion of 4+ exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
- Upon hire: Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- 5 years of healthcare actuarial/analytics experience
- Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming language
