Job Summary
Representing TMLF and its creditor clients in various legal matters, the Texas Licensed Associate Attorney will manage pre-litigation issues, foreclosure actions, and bankruptcy cases remotely while preparing legal documents and providing guidance to non-attorney staff.
Key responsibilities
- Efficiently manage multiple pre-litigation issues, foreclosure actions, and bankruptcy matters as assigned
- Prepare high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs
- Review and edit legal work products and provide guidance to department staff
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate with a Texas State Bar license in good standing
- 5+ years of legal practice experience, particularly in bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings
- Proficiency in relevant technology, including Westlaw and time-billing software
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively
