Job Summary
Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time Texas Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action, including extensive research and drafting of briefs and pleadings
- Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions, while managing trial preparation and expert witness collaboration
- Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver strategic legal advice and manage deadlines with a high level of independence
Required qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas; additional bar admissions are a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant practice area
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
